I think it was the Elle editor Jean-Dominique Bauby, who suffered from Locked-in syndrome, who said that he wanted to live as fully in his mind as he once did in his body.<br /><br />So, before anyone sought to exercise their choice to end their life, I would advocate for them to talk with counselors to explore the aspect of 'quality of life'.<br /><br />I, for one, believe that everyone can a meaningful life.<br /><br />Again, thanks for this article<br /><br />Michael K.
